Berlin has some amazing shopping opportunities compared to Helsinki. We went shopping on our last day in Berlin. On top of my shopping list was a leather jacket from All Saints. I’ve been a fan of All Saints for a few years, but I’ve only ordered things online and never visited an actual store before. The jacket I chose is the classic Balfern leather jacket. It’s so cool! I love it so much and I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it over the years to come. Besides the jacket I bought loungewear from Uniqlo and lots of cosmetics or cosmetics related things. Here’s what. 🙂

Berlin has a Sephora, but since it’s inside a department store called Galeria Kaufhof it doesn’t have a great selection of brands. Luckily Becca is one of the brands they carry. I had a few things on my list and I was able to cross over the Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer and Backlight Priming Filter from that list. I like the concealer’s formula but I could have gone with a lighter shade. I also dislike the packaging, it leaks. I really like the primer, though.

KIKO is an Italian makeup brand with huge selection of products and affordable prices. There’s a few of their stores in Berlin. I wasn’t aware that they had a 3 for 2 sale going on, it was a nice surprise that I got these for under 30 euros with the discount they had. Good thing I didn’t know about the sale because I didn’t need any new lipsticks or nail polishes. Oops. I haven’t tested everything yet, but I really like the lipsticks. The pink and purple eyeshadows are kind of unusual picks for me. I’m trying to think out of the box here. We shall see what kind of looks I can create with these.

I fell in love with Muji when they had a pop up store in Helsinki in December. There is a Muji store in the Mall of Berlin, a huge mall with 270 shops. I was in a rush when we were in there, but I managed to pick up quite a selection of travel friendly products. I’ve a bigger travel cosmetics case from Muji I like so I picked up a smaller one for makeup. These are so handy! The toothbrush stand is so cute, it’s very simple but genius at the same time.

Douglas is perfume and cosmetics retailer similar to Sephora. They have their own brand, but they also carry brands like NYX, Urban Decay, Becca, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit and so on. From Douglas I bought a couple of things from NYX and some other things like four eye makeup brushes from Zoeva. They also have a small selection of Korean beauty brands so I bought the Perfect Cover BB cream I have wanted to try and a sun screen from Missha. I like the BB cream but I actually think I should have gone for the darker shade. It’s fine, I can mix it with other products to make it work.

After my trip to Berlin, like that wasn’t enough of shopping, I went on an online shopping spree. From one of my favourite places to shop,, I picked up three skincare products I was missing in my bathroom cabinet. I needed a new toner so I chose the Balancing Force Oil Control Toner by Ole Henriksen because of my acne. I think this really works reducing my acne pimples. I hope I’m not speaking too soon, though. I’m obsessed with all things K-beauty and always on the look for new products to add to my now ever-growing beauty routine. The 3 Seconds Starter Hyaluronic Acid (serum?) by Holika Holika had good reviews and I like it, too. This facial spray by Mario Badescu has been on my wish list for ever so I put it in my basket as well. Face mists are so good when you need to refresh your makeup or your face just needs extra hydration.

Like I said, I’m hooked on K-beauty so I placed an order at too. This was my first time ordering from there. Delivery was fast and they sent me lots of samples with my order, how nice of them. It was almost too hard to choose what to buy as they’ve a great selection of Missha products. I ended up with the Near Skin Moist Lab Cream, Near Skin Simple Therapy 2 in 1 Essence Lotion, M Signature Real Complete BB Cream (shade 13… again, too light. What is wrong with me???) and Moist-Full Stick Lip Balm in the shade Coral. I think I like this BB cream more than the other one. I’m not sure. They are both good! But it’s hard to be certain when I can’t use them on their own. The lip balm is cute, I use it almost daily now. It gives colour and moisture, I couldn’t ask for more. Would this be enough of shopping for a while? x
