ABOUT LAST NIGHT

Good news, people, I got myself a ring light! This means that I don’t have to kiss goodbye to my blog for the long dark winter months. I’ve no idea how to adjust the setting on my camera, though, sorry about that. I’m sorry I’ve been away from my blog, I’ve been under a lot of stress lately and have been feeling a bit down for some reason. November has gone so quickly, I can’t believe it’s the 20th of November already. This is the Pre-Holiday Party Season, the perfect time to bring out the red lipsticks and glitter eyeshadows.

The Smashbox Full Exposure Palette* is really starting to grow on me. I wasn’t sure about it before, but I now find myself using it all the time and that’s what I had on my eyes last night, as well. We had a little Purkkimafia get-together at Ilona’s place. On my lips I was wearing the Tom Ford Beauty Lip Colour in the shade 73 Joaquin. What a beautiful lipstick, too bad Tom Ford Beauty goodies are not sold in Finland. Last night was fun, thanks ladies!

I gave myself a quick gradient manicure for the occasion with the China Glaze Purr-Fect Plum nail polish and the Essence The Gel Nail Polish in the shade 58 Need Your Love*. To finish it off I used the Faby Top Coat Matte on top for the matte effect. My velvet choker is new and it’s from Glitter, but here’s a similar one sold at Asos.com.

And for some really strange reason I’ve read the first sentence “Good news, people, I got myself a ring last night!” and thought it was some sort of a wedding announcement. Somehow with the title and the way it the post starts 😀 But yeah, i’ll probably copy that look to a pre-christmas party this season. I really like that subtle gold look, that isn’t too glittery or bright, but more like a softer, slightly “dirtier” gold than a bright yellow metallic.
